I am interested in combining Western jazz with traditional Chinese instruments, for a traveling art exhibit on the persecution of the Falun Gong in China. I am a composer and violinist and lover of jazz living in Vallejo, where we have a Vallejo Jazz Society and so have community support and resources. I also know some of the best jazz musicians in the country (two of them played on my CD — Ray Charles’ bass player and Etta James and Santana’s keyboard player. Please contact me to explore the possibility.
